QGIS 3.0 is released

Much awaited QGIS version 3.0 is now released. The current version is QGIS 3.0.0 'Girona' and was released on 23.02.2018. According to QGIS website, 'The long-term repositories currently offer QGIS 2.18.17 'Las Palmas'.'

QGIS is open source Geographical Information System software. It is a user friendly software and is provided to the users under the GNU General Public License.

The QGIS 3.0 is coming with the name "Girona". Girona is a city in Spain’s northeastern Catalonia region, beside the River Onyar.
